9:30am we step out of our toasty hotel and got an insight as to what it is like to be a snap frozen pea! Minus 13 again but this time with wind. No not me with the wind it was blowing and went straight through you.
The first leg of our journey was by bus. Driving around mountain passes and occasionally through them. Lots of frozen waterfalls. The higher we got the thicker the snow.
We arrive at Gudvangen where our second leg starts. The ferry to Flam.
Did you know Carolyn got her DNA checked and there is Viking in her blood.
Guess that may be where the red hair originally came from. Could be looking for long lost relatives on this trip.

Through the fjords we sail for 2 hours to Flam.
At Flam we start our final leg by train.
