3rd March, Last day in Bergen

Morning to ourselves before we jump on a bus.
Yep another fish breakfast, just to get the omega 3 levels up.
Venture outside and magic it starts snowing.

We go find a sports store as last night we learnt we need clip on spikes for our shoes the ground being so icy in the Arctic circle. Got that under control the it was time to jump on a bus. Lots of street art on the side of the buildings.
Our destination is Edward Grieg the composers house.
Nice place with beautiful grounds.
Now a museum we were able to see inside including seeing a pioano he composed many songs on.
Grieg is buried just to the left of the back of the house.
You know where the grave is as if you listen carefully you can here Peer Gynt being played backwards. This is obviously Grieg decomposing.

We head back to town and the area around the old town and learn of its history and how it was a trading hub for dried salted cod which is what all the trendies ate in those days.

From here we went to the main docks to board our ship. A bit hectic with checkin so will get some pictures tomorrow. The ship is great and our first meal good. Lots of seafood and even a large dish of the local delicacy boiled sheeps head. Of course I could not help myself and took a couple of large pieces. It was really nice and I am sure the dripping fat bits were fat free..
